    At its annual meeting in June, the New Mexico Land Grant Council / Consejo changed its name to the New Mexico Land Grant Consejo.  The purpose of this name change was to avoid confusion with the state governmental body, the Land Grant Council, newly created by the Land Grant Support Act (HB85) (.PDF).   The Consejo also adopted a resolution elaborating on its goals and principles. Other information regarding preparation for the Sept 19 meeting in Questa may also be found in the LogIn page.

    Note to members of boards of trustees:  Broadcast Emails from Arturo Archuleta to the membership on matters such as recommending an appointment to the Governor, preparing a 2010 budget to submit to DFA (due this month), or updating your ICIP plan and resolution (due September 30), please go to LogIn page, log in, and go the the fourth bullet point (broadcast Emails).  If you lack a username and password please contact us at landgrantconsejo@gmail.com.
